Network Sciences International is a manufacturer of VSAT (Very Small Aperture Technology) and Wide Area Network (WAN) communication equipment. This includes CCITT Recommendation X.25 Packet Assembler/Disassembler, Frame relay, network switching equipment, Group 3 Fax to X.25 conversion equipment, voice over X.25 data lines (including wireless interface to our equipment). Responsible for the design of fully meshed VSAT multimedia networks (voice, data, fax, video).

Projects included networks that were commissioned in Pakistan, Czech Republic, Venezuela, Nepal, Mongolia, Indonesia and Yellowknife. On site engineering duties included stays in Calgary, Pakistan and the Czech Republic.
Duties included the following:
- � Providing a time-line analysis of production dates
- � Anticipating shortages in the early stages of production
- � Coming up with complete test procedures for each board in our system
- � Training of test procedures for technical staff
- � Complete system test & configuration before shipment
- � Making sure that quality of products are up to specification
- � Following and interpreting CSA compliance
- � Design and implementation of customer service ticket procedures
- � Independent verification of equipment for analysis of customer issues
- �Installation and sign-off officer for projects abroad
- �Interface between customer and engineering
Assistant Engineer
- Design of a V.35 interface
- Design of telephony interfaces (CO appearance & Subscriber Loop)
- Working knowledge in RF design (C & Ku band)
